ministry trainings and retreats

We are here to host orthodox Christian groups seeking to hold trainings or retreats for the furtherance of the gospel!

It is no secret that Europe faces the grim prospect of an increasingly secular and post-Christian future. Church attendance continues to decline, while magnificent Gothic cathedrals and collections of Christian art stand as sad reminders that Christianity once thrived here. Yet in Christ, there is always hope. Christians throughout Europe, along with the REC Board of Foreign Missions, are committed to the re-evangelization of Europe.

The key to a Christian future for Europe is found in its past. In every small village, there is a parish church, planted in the Middle Ages through a comprehensive culture of catechesis and evangelism. In addition, monasteries served as centers of Christian culture, equipping missionaries and laying people for the work of building up the Church. It is time for the Church to answer Christ's call to evangelize and train disciples in Europe because no matter how much the world changes, the good news of the Gospel is still entirely relevant. God loves Europeans. God desires renewal and restoration for his Church in Europe. Though the ancient parish churches may have few attendees now, he has not forgotten them, and he longs to see them filled with joyful worshipers.
